First Tech Challenge

From middle school through my sophomore year in high school I participated in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). I competed in the FLL (First Lego League) for one year and then moved on to the FTC (First Tech Challenge) level for another four years. I served as a founding member of both teams and acted as lead mechanical engineer and vice captain on my FTC team for four years. For my last three years our team was known as 6022 TBD and the photos to the left are from my final year on the team during the 2014-2015 season. These photos showcase our robot which consisted of a vertical slide lift, ball sweeper, and ball dispensing tube all on top of a rugged tank drive propulsion system. You can watch this robot in action in the video at the bottom of this page.
