I was taught how to operate the semi automated lathe.

I helped assemble a small motor, it still weighed about 120lbs.
Swiger Coil Systems
During my high school senior internship I spent two months at Swiger Coil which is a large electric motor manufacturing and rehab company. I was tasked with rewriting their rider system to make it easier for technicians to follow instructions and record critical dimensions. I also established a CNC engraving protocol for a new nameplate engraving machine. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to participate in various manufacturing processes such as lathing, sandblasting, and heavy assembly; this allowed me to gain a better appreciation for the manufacturing process and provided me with valuable experience to draw on for future design decisions.
